Aasif Shiekh scored first ever brilliant half century and was one of the most impressive player on the field. His brilliant inning was completed with 50 runs with strike rate of over hundred twenty eight. Aasif Sheikh scored around seven runs in an over and gave avengers stable runs going in for Pokhara Avengers. Pratish GC and Sidhhant Lohani both added twenty eight and twenty nine runs respectively both scoring runs at the strike rate of hundred fifty five and hundred eighty one. Ameer Hamza scored eighteen runs with a strike rate of ninety and played over three overs.
In the fourth match of Nepal T-20 League Avengers was playing their second game of league which despite Aasif, Pratish, Siddhant and Hamza playing brilliantly, lost second match against Janakpur Royals. Avengers were looking to comeback against Janakpur Royals but the inning ended in disappointment for Avengers which they lost by five wickets. Upal Tharanga who played very well scoring forty four runs in his first match was disappointing against Royals. Jankpur Royal's Sagar Pun and Sundeep Jora played brilliant inning scoring thirty eight and forty runs respectively. Avengers were all out on nineteen overs and four balls and managed to put hundred and thirty eight runs in scoreboard which Royals chased brilliantly in seventeen overs and four balls.
Pokhara Avengers are playing their third game of the league against Lumbini All stars on 27th December 9:15 AM early at the Kirtipur T.U ground who is having superb start to the league by winning their first two games. However, player and coaching staff will be looking for win and look for the positive start to the season.
