The Nepal T20 Cricket League has seen some exciting action in recent weeks, with teams vying for position in the league table. One team that has had a particularly tough run of games is the Pokhara Avengers, who had lost five games in a row before finally registering their first victory against Far West United.
The win was a hard-fought one, with the Avengers chasing down an ambitious target of 188 runs set by United. The victory has lifted the Avengers up to fifth place in the league table, and will surely give them a much-needed boost of confidence heading into their next game against Lumbini All Stars on 31st December.
The All Stars are in good form at the moment, so the Avengers will have their work cut out for them. However, the win against Far West United should give them the belief that they can compete with the best teams in the league. With the game taking place early at 9:15 AM, the Avengers will need to be at their best right from the start if they want to come away with another victory.
