The Pokhara Avengers held an event on Thursday to unveil their Gandaki song and new jersey. Former South African cricketer Jonty Rhodes, now the team’s consultant and advisor, was warmly welcomed at the event.
A video of the jersey unveiling in Lo Manthang was shown, where team owner Subodh Tripathi highlighted their goal to raise awareness about global warming.
A rally was held in Pokhara, where Jonty Rhodes participated, showcasing the growing popularity of cricket in the city. Jonty expressed his excitement about Nepal's cricket scene and his anticipation for the NPL’s start.
Assistant coach Rijan Paru and brand ambassador Sandeep Chhetri unveiled the Gandaki song. Chhetri shared his joy in being part of the team, and marquee player Kushal Bhurtel, along with other team members, were also present.
